My Story So Far
Hi Im Natacha and you are most welcome to my Online Studio.
Some of you will be familiar with my teaching from attending in person classes in Ballingarry. I have been teaching both mat and reformer classes for a combination of 12 years. I am a mother of one, soon to be two and since starting a family it has become clear to me that it is important to have a platform that is accessible for me as a teacher to continue to deliver classes to you my clients. I hope you enjoy the Online Class Library I have created with the intention of helping you to move and stay connected to your Pilates practice at home or wherever and whenever the time suits you. Ideal for those who find it hard to leave the house to get to a studio or those with work commitments.
I will be teaching my final in person reformer class on May 30th before I go on maternity leave. You can still book your reformer class by going to 'Reformer Classes' on the main menu.
Im so excited for the next chapter both at home with my family and in the studio as I will be re-opening a new studio in 2027 to continue to teach in person classes. Until then I hope you will join me online on the mat to stay strong and healthy in both body and mind.

Join Natacha as she shares her pregnancy journey in the 'Move with me through Pregnancy Series' which are short, gentle, full body focused classes designed to support your body & baby through pregnancy and birth.
You have the option to rent a class with unlimited streaming for 72 hours or get Full Access to the entire library for 1 month when you subscribe to the channel. You can revisit your favourite class as many times as you'd like within the specified timeframe.

What is Pilates?
Pilates is a system of low impact exercises which enhance each persons physical and mental health once practiced regularly. Pilates corrects postural misalignments in the body by performing specifically designed exercises using body weight as resistance and the connection of deep support muscles known as ‘’The Core/Powerhouse".
When working from the inside out, the movement becomes graceful and deliberate. Pilates promotes torso stability, postural alignment, more efficient movement, body awareness and overall wellbeing.
Throughout your Pilates journey you will learn 6 fundamental principles:

What is Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates consists of performing a combination of movements on a large piece of equipment called the Reformer. Specially designed to challenge, strengthen and support the body, the 'reformer' is so named because it was created to reform the body & movement of the participant. Consisting of a large frame, topped with a flat cushioned platform (carriage) which is attached to the frame by springs of different tension and moves as you push or pull with your legs or arms. The reformer also has long straps which can also be used to move the carriage as you push and pull the straps with your hands or feet. Through a variety of carefully designed movements, Reformer Pilates provides a full body workout.

Natacha is the owner & manager of Bodyworks. She is a Certified Advanced Mat Pilates Instructor since 2014.
In 2019 she qualified as a STOTT® Reformer Instructor and now teaches Essential level, Intermediate and Advanced level Reformer classes.
Natacha has trained with Complete Body Movement, a Licensed Training Centre of Merrithew™ (www.merrithew.com), founders of STOTT PILATES®, who are leading educators in mindful movement and used by studios and fitness facilities worldwide.
Her classes are designed for all fitness levels whether you are about to start your fitness journey or you are an elite athlete or if you are simply looking to move better and feel better.

Natacha comes from a sporting background and has had her own fair share of injuries & issues with movement which gives her an understanding of the challenges while recovering from pain & injury. She studied health studies and sports injuries in Cork College of Commerce in 2002 & went on to further her training with the National Training Centre where she qualified as a Neuromuscular Therapist in 2013. It was while she was studying NMT that she discovered Pilates and the power of this type of movement for healing and recovery.
Natacha is very passionate about how the Pilates method can help to improve health and wellbeing and is committed to helping each person develop strength, flexibility, muscle tone and improve mobility.
She is also a reflexologist since 2002 and has many years of experience on how the body works. This along with her experience as a Neuromuscular Therapist allows Natacha to tailor her classes.
Natacha was awarded the Business All Star Accreditation in 2024.
